This Privacy Policy explains how Casino Minimums ("we," "us") collects, uses, and
shares information across casinominimums.com and the Casino
Minimums iOS app (together, "the Service"). By using either you agree to this
policy.
Casino Minimums is a community-driven guide to casino table-game minimums. It is for
informational and entertainment purposes only and does not offer
real-money gambling.
Information we collect
- Account information. If you create an account, we collect your
email address and a username, and store an authentication credential.
Authentication is handled by Google Firebase Authentication, and the same account
works on the website and in the app.
- Community contributions. Prices you submit, price up/down-votes
you cast, and the resulting karma and contribution counts are stored in our database
and are publicly visible to other users (shown with your username).
Do not submit anything you want to keep private.
- Saved casinos. Casinos you bookmark and (in the app) your
notification preferences are stored on your device and, if you are signed in,
associated with your account so they sync across devices.
- Location (optional). If you grant permission, the Service uses
your location only while you are using it — on the website via
"Find Nearby," in the app to show your position on the map — to help you find nearby
casinos. Your location is not stored on our servers or shared.
- Purchase information. See "VIP / Premium subscriptions" below.
We never receive or store your full payment card details.
- Cookies (website only). casinominimums.com uses cookies to keep
you signed in and to serve ads via Google AdSense; a cookie banner lets you accept
this on first visit.
- Advertising identifiers (app only). If you do not have Premium,
the app shows ads via Google AdMob, which may access your device's advertising
identifier (IDFA) to deliver and measure ads. On first launch we ask permission via
Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt; if you decline, you'll see
non-personalized ads.
- Usage and device data. Like most apps and websites, our service
providers may process limited technical data (interactions, crash/performance
information, general device information) to operate and improve the Service.
VIP / Premium subscriptions
Casino Minimums offers a paid subscription that unlocks additional game minimums
(Baccarat, Roulette, 3-Card Poker, Pai Gow, Ultimate Texas Hold'em, Spanish 21, and
Mississippi Stud) and removes ads. You can subscribe through either platform, and being
signed into the same account unlocks Premium on both:
- On the website — payments are processed securely by
Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until canceled; manage or
cancel anytime through your Stripe customer portal.
- In the app — payments are processed by Apple as
an auto-renewing in-app purchase. Manage or cancel anytime in
Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions.
How we use information
- To provide core features: live minimums, search, the map, saved casinos, and
(in the app) price alerts.
- To enable community contributions and the karma system.
- To manage your account and your Premium subscription status.
- To display advertising to non-Premium users.
- To maintain security, prevent abuse, and improve the Service.
How information is shared
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Google (Firebase, AdSense & AdMob) — authentication,
database, and advertising. See
Google's Privacy Policy.
- Stripe — website subscription payments. See
Stripe's Privacy Policy. We do not store
your card details.
- Apple — in-app purchases and subscription management. See
Apple's Privacy Policy.
- Other users — your username and community contributions
(prices, votes, karma) are public within the Service.
- Legal — if required by law or to protect rights, safety, or the
integrity of the service.
Cookies & advertising
On the website, cookies keep you signed in and let Google AdSense serve (and measure)
ads; you can decline non-essential cookies via your browser settings, though this may
affect login persistence. In the app, Google AdMob serves ads and Apple's App Tracking
Transparency prompt controls IDFA access. Premium subscribers see no ads on either
platform.
Notifications (app only)
If you enable Price Alerts in the app, we send local notifications when minimums
change at casinos you have saved. You can turn these off anytime in the app or in iOS
Settings.
Data retention & deletion
We keep your account information for as long as your account exists. You can request
deletion at any time — in the app via Profile › Delete Account (which
permanently removes your profile, username, karma, contributions, and saved casinos), or
by emailing us if you only use the website. Deleting your account does not
automatically cancel a paid subscription — cancel a website subscription via your Stripe
customer portal, or an app subscription via Settings › Apple ID ›
Subscriptions.
Security
We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, to
protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
Children
Casino Minimums is intended for adults (rated 17+) and is not directed to
children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If
you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g., under GDPR or CCPA/CPRA), you may have the right
to access, correct, or delete your personal information, and to opt out of certain
processing. Use Profile › Delete Account in the app, or contact us for
other requests.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will revise the "Effective
date" above and, for material changes, provide notice on the website or in the app.
